Dr. Katelyn Wilkosz (Dr. Kate) was born and raised in Greenville, Pennsylvania. For as long as she can remember, Dr. Kate wanted to be a veterinarian.
She grew up in a very rural area, and was always bringing home strays to take care of (luckily her parents let her keep them!) She attended Commodore Perry High School, earned a BS in Biology from Mercyhurst University, and recently graduated from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine with her DVM in May 2026.
Dr. Kate’s favorite part of veterinary medicine is helping her patients and clients, and additionally, she has particular interests in cardiology, radiology, and ultrasound.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends; her fiancé, Hayden; and their two cats, Roofus and Sophie. She also loves the outdoors and nature. Hiking, camping, fishing, and exploring national and state parks are some of her favorite activities. Dr. Kate looks forward to meeting and helping you and your beloved pets!”
